Hello and welcome to Black Fairy, a small tribute dedicated to the mysterious leather-clad motorcyclist, Celty Sturluson.
She is the headless modern Dullahan of the light novel series Durarara!! by Narita Ryogo, which has been adapted into a very popular anime and manga series.
The essays in this shrine are based on both the light novels and the anime series, drawing the parallels between the two media forms.
While the story may be more advanced in the light novels, Celty's character remains the same.
I've tried to be as general as possible so that DRRR!! fans who are only familiar with the series in one form or another can still enjoy this site.
In fact it draws very heavily from the first two volumes, as I feel that Celty's character became most developed very soon in the series.
Needless to say, that there are unmarked spoilers about.
If you're not familiar with the DRRR!! franchise, please be careful if you're not keen on being spoiled about plotlines later in the story.
